Product Description

Hydrustent® is an implantable biodegradable double loop ureteral stent based on natural polymers that degrades homogenously inside the human body, avoiding the need of a second surgery for stent removal and minimizing complications related to encrustation and bacterial infections. The device degrades in less than 30 days. Hydrustent® will be provided in sterile status (EO sterilized) and is intended for single use.

Hydrustent® is 100% constituted by natural polymer hydrogels.

Intended use

Hydrustent® is a single use, EO sterilized, implantable biodegradable ureteral stent that intends to maintain the urinary flow inside the ureter in adults (>18 years), after ureteral or renal stones removal by endourological techniques.
